The name of Iraq is equal meaning of southern Mesopotamia in Arabic and anciently engaged by Arabic and Semitic populations. Correspondingly, North and South of Mesopotamia were never united, neither geographically, economically nor demographically. However, the outbreak of Kurdish conflict took place with the construction of this state with frontiers drowned by the British who wanted to control the production of petrol in the area. The North of Mesopotamia was for a long time a part a large country that Arabians called “Jazirah” it’s a mountainous area and anciently peopled by Kurds, Armenians and later Turkmens. However, most of the Arabian of Iraq was Shiite, in conflict to Sunnite Kurds.

Now, I know a whole lot of nothing about this topic, but as you said;
"However, the publication of Kurdish books or reviews is forbiden, as the learning of the Kurdish language, though it is allowed for the Armenians of Syria."
This seems like a huuuuuuuuuuuge deal to me. Banning of books? Restriction of language? What is next? Restriction of human rights? Reminds me of the Nazis burning books in WW2.
In fact it reminds me of a lot of things...
yea... the easiest example that you could understand would be maori problem in NZ..Similarly, Kurdish people had a country many years ago and Turkish people came in from lots of other places and there was one very clever Turkish lider,Kurdish people and turkish people fought for country and they got strong and strong this time They started to fight against Kurds and eveything forbidden for Kurds such as language, culture, tv chanels, books, music...and so on..
I hope its more clear to you this is my knowledge from what i read what i saw and what i heard from my parents and so on but there are stil as you said hugeeeee thing...
